Death and Deceit

There is no man on earth who always obeys the Ten Commandments. We are all fallible creatures, myself included. I trust in a forgiving God, have received His forgiveness and seek to live according to His laws and principles.

No candidate for President is without flaws. However, Barack Obama deliberately disobeys two commandments without apparent care or concern. He is an advocate for death and for deceit.

Thou Shalt Not Kill (literally, murder)

Barack Obama supports not only murdering children in the womb, but also the murder of babies who are born alive when an abortion attempt fails.

WASHINGTON — When it comes to his abortion record in Illinois, Senator Obama is taking flak from all sides.

First, Senator Clinton accused him of lacking political backbone in voting "present" on a bill that, according to abortion rights advocates, undermined the landmark Supreme Court ruling in Roe v. Wade. Now abortion foes are targeting him from the right over the same question: They say his opposition to legislation aimed at protecting infants born alive after a botched abortion demonstrates his extremism on the flash point social issue.

The conservative attacks have intensified in recent days, with opponents of legalized abortion sending out missives against Mr. Obama and a YouTube video circulating that casts his position on abortion as more extreme than even the most stalwart supporters of a woman's right to choose, including Mrs. Clinton and Senator Kennedy of Massachusetts.

The presumptive Democratic nominee responded sharply in an interview Saturday night with the Christian Broadcast Network, saying anti-abortion groups were "lying" about his record.

"They have not been telling the truth," Mr. Obama said. "And I hate to say that people are lying, but here's a situation where folks are lying."

He added that it was "ridiculous" to suggest he had ever supported withholding lifesaving treatment for an infant. "It defies common sense and it defies imagination, and for people to keep on pushing this is offensive," he said in the CBN interview.

At issue is the Born Alive Infant Protection Act, a bill in the Illinois state Senate that sought to protect against bungled abortions by requiring that a fetus that survived an abortion be defined as a person. Fearing that the legislation could be interpreted more broadly to protect fetuses that were not yet viable — thus threatening Roe v. Wade, abortion rights advocates pushed for an amendment that explicitly limited the scope of the bill to infants "born alive."

"Nothing in this section," the added sentence reads, "shall be construed to affirm, deny, expand, or contract any legal status or legal right applicable to any member of the species homo sapiens at any point prior to being born alive as defined in this section."

A federal version with that added clause passed Congress unanimously in 2002, with the support of Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Kennedy, among others. Mr. Obama said in 2004 and again on Saturday that he would have supported the federal version.

During the Democratic primary, Mrs. Clinton's campaign criticized Mr. Obama for voting "present" — instead of "no" — on the "Born Alive" bill in Illinois, which did not contain a provision protecting the Roe v. Wade decision.

The dispute flared again last week when a leading opponent of legalized abortion, the National Right to Life Committee, posted records from the Illinois Legislature showing that Mr. Obama, while chairman of a Senate committee, in 2003, voted against a "Born Alive" bill that contained nearly identical language to the federal bill that passed unanimously, including the provision limiting its scope.

The group says the documents prove Mr. Obama misrepresented his record.

Indeed, Mr. Obama appeared to misstate his position in the CBN interview on Saturday when he said the federal version he supported "was not the bill that was presented at the state level."
His campaign yesterday acknowledged that he had voted against an identical bill in the state Senate, and a spokesman, Hari Sevugan, said the senator and other lawmakers had concerns that even as worded, the legislation could have undermined existing Illinois abortion law. Those concerns did not exist for the federal bill, because there is no federal abortion law.

In 2005, the campaign noted, a "Born Alive" bill passed the Illinois Legislature after another clause had been added that explicitly stated that the legislation would have no effect on existing state abortion laws.

Told of the campaign's explanation, the legislative director of the National Right to Life Committee, Douglas Johnson, was dubious. "These are newly manufactured and highly implausible excuses," he said. "There is no way that the bill would have had any effect on any method of abortion." Mr. Johnson said the version Mr. Obama voted down clearly applied only to fetuses that emerged from the womb alive.

In addition to the outrage from abortion opponents, a five-minute YouTube video now making the rounds highlights Mr. Obama's opposition to the legislation. The clip, which has been viewed more than 230,000 times, features a testimonial from Jill Stanek, a former nurse who spearheaded the push for the bill in Illinois after witnessing a live infant discarded and left to die at the hospital where she worked. Ms. Stanek appeared at the White House ceremony in 2002 when President Bush signed the federal bill into law.

The McCain campaign yesterday added its voice to the criticism of Mr. Obama. "Americans can differ on the issue of abortion, but Senator Obama's extreme record on this issue and his willingness to misrepresent that record should concern any American who believes that we should be working towards a society where there are fewer abortions, not more," a spokesman for Senator McCain, Brian Rogers, said.

That a man of color supports Planned Parenthood, an organization that was formed as an Eugenics organization and now usually locates in poor and minority neighborhoods is so ironic. Barack may well have have aborted himself!

Some people believe in the sanctity of life. Barack Obama believes a woman should not be "punished with a baby." Apparently it doesn't matter whether the child has already been born or not.

Thou Shalt Not Bear False Witness (lie)

Yes, Obama has lied repeatedly about his position on abortion and babies born alive.

He also pledged to accept federal matching funds for this election, signed a document stating he would do it. But he lied and has been shilling for huge donations ever since. He is now outspending McCain four or five dollars to one, trying to buy the election no matter what he may have ever said and what laws are broken to do it.

Barack Obama is an attorney and, as an officer of the court, is pledged to uphold laws of the land. Yet he allowed his aunt, here in this country illegally, to live in Boston in public housing and did nothing. He didn't help support her, he didn't try to help her get a visa and, since she lost her first bid at staying legally, didn't notify authorities to have her deported. That is a violation of the law as an attorney.

Obama has been running a nationwide commercial claiming the Heritage Foundation approves of his tax plan. That foundation has legally asked him to cease and desist, considered filing a court order and publicly protested this lie.

Obama's donation machine online is taking illegal donations from foreigners and people entering false identifications. They have taken all safeguards off so that illegal contributions could be made. They have been notified and pay no attention. They know they are getting illegal contributions and are willingly taking and spending them. (McCain's site has the usual safeguards in place. Mickey Mouse from Orlando cannot contribute there, unlike Barack's site).

Barack Obama first said that Jeremiah Wright was his spiritual mentor, then later disavowed him. Which is true?

Barack Obama gave a warm introduction at a dinner for Rashid Khalidi, then claimed to barely know him. The LA Times has a tape they will not they would if it were a negative tape concerning McCain!

Barack Obama began his political career in William Ayers front room. He served on a board with him and shared an office with him. But he claims to be just a mere acquaintance.

Tony Rezko, Chicago crook, slumlord and political kingmaker, got Barack a great deal on his Chicago-area mansion. But Barack claims not to know Rezko that well and that the whole thing was a "bone-headed" move. Yet Barack worked on legislation designed to help Rezko make money from his slum operations.

Barack Obama once called Frank Marshall Davis a mentor and major early influence, but then distanced himself once people realized that Davis was a communist agitator and writer who is marxist in the extreme.

Barack Obama went to a BLT church (a philosophy of racial politics and marxist extremism) for twenty years, where class warfare and racial hatreds and curses on America were and are a regular menu served up from the podium. He only left the church after Americans found out what was going on there and claimed to never have heard that kind of thing while he was there. Did he sleep through every church service???! Or is he a liar?

In a speech to a Selma, Alabama crowd meant to pump up his civil-rights movement authenticity and his Kennedy Camelot image, Barack Obama claimed that the Kennedy administration paid for his Kenyan father to travel to America on a student scholarship and therefore was responsible for his “very existence”. However, the first march on Selma took place on March 7, 1965. Obama would have been about three and half years old at that time. For some reason the media never did the math on this.

Barack Obama filled out a survey in his early political career taking very extreme liberal positions on everything from gun control to abortion. When questioned on it he claimed that an aide filled it out for him and that it didn’t accurately describe his views. However, after some investigation it was found that his handwriting is all over the survey.

I can go on and on but many of you know this. You know Barack Obama is a liar and you know he advocates abortion-on-demand for any reason whatever at any time and even advocates killing babies born alive who survived the abortion process. Gianna Jessen is a famous woman who was intended to be aborted but survived and lives still. But one of every thirty babies that are supposed to have been aborted live after the procedure anyway. Most of them are murdered and Barack Obama wants it to stay that way.

Jill Stanek held a baby in her arms for 45 minutes in a dank hallway full of dirty linens and decided that what was right was more important than her job. She was fired for speaking out on the issue and taking steps to end the horrific practice of leaving newborns in baskets of dirty laundry to die cold and alone. On this one issue alone we see that Barack Obama is for murder and is a liar.

As a Christian, I cannot in good conscience vote for a man of such low moral character.

Seriously? What law did he break?

His bound duty as an officer of the court is to notify the authorities, since she had remained illegally after being ordered to leave the country.

She attended his Senatorial swearing-in ceremony and is mentioned in "his" book. Now he claims he didn't know she was either in Boston or in financial or legal distress. However, he claims he will hunt down and find Bin Laden. Right.

I would love to know where you found that "bound duty" thing about attorneys. I've done a quick search and can't find anything. Is this strictly for deportation or any crime?

Imagine your unbounded joy when you finally find it!

Do you reply with attempted humor because what you said is dead false?

You made up that he violated the law as an attorney. This is going to be yet another of those claims you can never back up.

Federal Immigration and Nationality Act

Section 8 USC 1324(a)(1)(A)(iv)(b)(iii) "Any person who . . . encourages or induces an illegal alien to . . . reside . . . knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that such . . . residence is . . . in violation of law, shall be punished as provided . . . for each illegal alien in respect to whom such a violation occurs . . . fined under title 18 . . . imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both."...

Section 274 felonies under the federal Immigration and Nationality Act, INA 274A(a)(1)(A):

Encouraging and Harboring Illegal Aliens

It is a violation of law for any person to conceal, harbor, or shield from detection in any place, including any building or means of transportation, any illegal alien who is in the United States in violation of law. Harboring means any conduct that tends to substantially facilitate an alien to remain in the U.S. illegally. The sheltering need not be clandestine, and harboring covers aliens arrested outdoors, as well as in a building. This provision includes harboring an alien who entered the U.S. legally but has since lost his legal status.

Radar said, Obama didn't help support her. All radar says is he didn't notify authorities to have her deported. That is not concealing, harboring, or shielding from detection.

Try again.

I didn't answer Lava because I was sure he already knew the answer. Lobo answers him and then Lava makes excuses. Hey, Obama supporters have become good at making excuses for him, they've been doing it for over a year now as revelations about his past and his present and the paucity of his character come out despite the MSM and their silence.

Sorry, Lava, Lobo and I both think he violated the law and the law, as it reads, seems to agree. But you go ahead and make excuses if it makes you feel better and that way you can ignore the more important flaws about him and his campaign that I pointed out...

PS - Lobo is, as always, right on point.
