Darwinist Hall of Shame - The Flying Spaghetti Monster and the Shape-Shifting Hypothesis of Evolution - Ian Juby Edition

On the 4th of July, I have a question for Americans.  Are you more or less free than you were ten years ago?  Have your rights as enumerated in the Bill of Rights been eroded?   Consider the question and then I hope you will begin to take action.

If you want total security, go to prison. There you're fed, clothed, given medical care and so on. The only thing lacking... is freedom.
Dwight D. Eisenhower

Freedom prospers when religion is vibrant and the rule of law under God is acknowledged.
Ronald Reagan

Action means supporting good candidates for public office (or becoming one yourself) and voting, and I mean voting OUT ALL the Beltway Boys who like to spend our money like it was nothing.   It may start with Barack Obama but it goes down through the entire Congress, to all sorts of various agencies and also State and local government entities.   Pay attention and DO SOMETHING, PEOPLE!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thanks to Ian Juby who was gracious enough to set me free to roam and select from his vast collection of articles and videos and use them in this series as wanted.  Great guy!  Funny guy and also a very smart guy!  While we have conversed via the internet I am still waiting for him to come far enough South so that we can go see one of his presentations in person.   Probably will do so in the near future.
I may use an Ian video in other posts for the Hall of Shame.  Is the Flying Spaghetti Monster an entity? If so, we are inducting him!!!
From Wikipedia:
"...The Flying Spaghetti Monster (FSM) is the deity of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster or Pastafarianism, a movement that promotes a light-hearted view of religion and opposes the teaching of intelligent design and creationism in public schools.[3] Although adherents state that Pastafarianism is a genuine religion,[3] it is generally recognized by the media as a parody religion.[4][5]
The "Flying Spaghetti Monster" was first described in a satirical open letter written by Bobby Henderson in 2005 to protest the Kansas State Board of Education decision to permit teaching intelligent design as an alternative to evolution in public school science classes.[6] In that letter, Henderson satirized creationist ideas by professing his belief that whenever a scientist carbon dates an object, a supernatural creator that closely resembles spaghetti and meatballs is there "changing the results with His Noodly Appendage". Henderson argued that his beliefs and intelligent design were equally valid, and called for Flying Spaghetti Monsterism to be allotted equal time in science classrooms alongside intelligent design and evolution.[7] After Henderson published the letter on his website, the Flying Spaghetti Monster rapidly became an Internet phenomenon and a symbol used against teaching intelligent design in public schools.[8]"
Well, there is stupid, there is foolish and then there is absolute idiocy.  Sure, the FSM is an obvious parody.  But the joke is really in reverse!   Intelligent Design depends ENTIRELY on observable evidence and empirical study and testing and has no connection to any religion at all.   Darwinism, on the other hand, is an article of faith for Naturalistic Humanists/Atheists.   Darwinism is the religious point of view, Intelligent Design is real science.  The Flying Spaghetti Monster is an unintentional lampooning of the Church of Darwin!
Ian Juby does a great video with the Flying Spaghetti Monster!!!
Then there is the Divergent/Convergent/Parallel/Preadaptive/Reductive evolution...Did we miss any of them?
How many Darwinisms ARE there anyway?  Will the real Darwinism please stand up?  Oh, sorry, you are not real.  My bad!!!
DNA actually clues us into truth - ONE common DESIGNER!!!
Now, before some commenter comes at me with the fake fallacy called "argument from incredulity" I want to nip it in the bud.
Suppose your son comes home with a report card and it has an "F" on it.  Just for the sake of argument, the "F" is in history.  The teacher notes that homework was not done and tests were sub-par.   You are not happy and while deciding whether to cut television or video games or some kind of discipline to encourage your child to actually do his homework and learn the lessons when he says,
"Dad, that is an A, not an F!  Part of the letter is missing...the printer was probably low on ink."
So you eyeball the report card and you see the A he got in gym class actually slants towards a point, while the "F" is a straight line with two lines perpendicular to the first line pointing to the right.  You can clearly see that it could NOT have been a misprinted "A."   So you point this out to your son.
"But that is a logical fallacy, Dad...the argument from incredulity!"
Try that with your home loan.  Just quit paying it and, when they reach out to notify you that your payment is past due, tell them the check is in the mail.  If they object, hit them with your argument from incredulity fallacy.   Tell them their failure to believe your statement that "The check is in the mail" is a logical fallacy on their part.
Go ahead, try it...a good way to learn a new word...foreclosure.  So, too, there are consequences for using that fallacy to fend off the overwhelming evidence for Intelligent Design.
The use of fallacy of argument from incredulity as an argument against evidence is in itself a fallacy!!!
Are you buying it?  Nor am I!  To quote Tony Breeden from one of his recent posts:
You know, I keep hearing that science is about facts and religion is about belief, so why is it that evolutionists cannot seem to get the facts about creationism right? Why don’t they bother to investigate and understand what they so vehemently oppose? Instead they repeat the same half-comprehended [or in some cases, just plain made up] misinformation to each other until they suppose it must be gospel truth.
Recently, columnist Mark Joseph Stern wrote a piece for Slate.com [which was picked up by Fairfax Media] in which he claimed, once again, that the Ark Encounter is being funded with our taxes [not true], that Creationists say that you’ll go to hell if you believe in evolution [pleeeeeeease], and as a value-added bonus that the Creation Museum is apparently on the brink of financial ruin [wishful thinking on his part]!
I really get tired of correcting this kind of credulous garbage, so of course comedian Jim Meyer chimes in with a Grist.org post that repeats the part about the Creation Museum as financial Titanic and the Barry Lynn inspired bit about the Ark Encounter being funded out of the state coffers.
Since neither of them had bothered to fact-check their assertions, I left comments on their articles correcting these erroneous claims and went about my day. Out of morbid curiosity, I took a look at Stern’s comments later to see how my comments had been received. Not well, of course. One comment got me. This guy defends Slate’s article by providing links to other “fair and objective” reviews of the Creation Museum… from Vanity Fair, DailyKos and BioLogos, proving that this kid hasn’t the faintest clue what unbiased and objective means.
This got me thinking. In a 2008 blog post entitled, This is the dawining of the Age of Credulity, movie critic Roger Ebert wrote the following:
“We may be leaving an age of irony and entering an age of credulity. In a time of shortened attention spans and instant gratification, trained by web surfing and movies with an average shot length of seconds, we absorb rather than contemplate. We want to gobble all the food on the plate, instead of considering each bite. We accept rather than select.”
So Intelligent Design scientists and Creation scientists present evidence and logic and Darwinists invent the Flying Spaghetti Monster.   In court, Darwinist cry like little babies and point at ID and Creation and say "That's religion, not science!" so that the actual evidence is not considered.  How many judges used to dealing with the law can discuss microbiology or the process of reproduction or irreducible complexity or such topics?   Not many...so Darwinists have been winning in court by lying and crying and resorting to absurdities like the Flying Spaghetti Monster.
There is a higher court than the US court system.  I hate to tell you this, but the Flying Spaghetti Monster will not save you from foreclosure nor will it save you from facing your Creator at the end of time.  My attorney is Jesus Christ and He has had me declared innocent and forgiven before the trial has begun.  I will only attend the Great White Throne judgement as a witness.   I would love it if you were with me in the gallery instead of down on the floor facing the Real Judge.  No other attorney will be capable of getting you off the hook.   You are either perfect or you are not.  If you are not?  Lakefront property in the Lake of Fire is reserved in your name already.
Back to the world in which we live now, the evidence doesn't sit on the Darwinist side of the table.  Every boilerplate statement Darwinists like to use is actually mythological  Did you know they claim to have a way to explain irreducibly complex systems?  Try reading their explanations, they are pathetically inadequate. So it is with irreducibly complex systems like the e.coli motility system aka the flagellum. The organic motor not only runs far more efficiently than anything man has designed, it repairs itself on the fly and every single part of it is needed to operate. Yet Darwinists pretend this kind of thing could "arise" by itself!!!
Did you know these motor assemblies not only have components that replace on the fly, but they allow the flagellum to change direction almost instantly?   Furthermore, this motor assembly requires every component to be in place to function and must be assembled before being activated. Many of the proteins involved in the manufacture and maintenance of this machine are specific to this machine and not found elsewhere in the bacteria.  Obviously this is a designed system, with instructions built in to the bacteria to guide the assembly and maintenance of said assembly.   This vaguely resembles a human electric motor but is far more efficient and of course miniaturized as well.  Michael Behe, upon investigating this system, thought of an outboard motor on a boat.  But this is much more efficient and sophisticated that a man-made motor.  It is remarkable and it is impossible to have been constructed by slow, small, incremental changes as the Darwinist model insists systems and organs are built.
Darwinists try to say that this just happened, it was evolved step-by-step, however, the evidence against this is overwhelming.
Did you know that bacteria have their own languages?
Did you know that the flagellum assembly is quite unique?  Just a little more on the subject...
Bacterial Flagellum
Bacterial Flagellum Falsifies Evolutionary Theory
There is a principle that has been popularized by proponents of the Intelligent Design Movement and that principle is “irreducible complexity.” This concept was introduced by Michael Behe, Ph.D., the author of Darwin’s Black Box: The Biochemical Challenge to Evolution. The central thesis of the book is that many biological systems are “irreducibly complex” at the molecular level and therefore could not have evolved by the standard mechanism of Darwinian evolution, e.g. natural selection and beneficial mutation.
When considering the assembly process involved in the bacterial flagellum, there exists a sequence that must be followed for successful assembly. There are three groups of genes labeled Class I, Class II, and Class III which must be assembled in order. The assembly process includes several key check points (feedback loops) that must be satisfied during the expression of each class of genes in the hierarchy, or the succeeding sets of genes are transcriptionally arrested. (Darwin’s Nemesis p. 214-15)
The flagellum is a true nanomachine of remarkable complexity in structure and assembly control. This macromolecular machine self-assembles and repairs, displays assembly control and processing, operates with two gears, is fueled by proton motive force, and the apparatus is “hard-wired” to a sensory apparatus that functions on short-term memory (chemotaxis). Rotor speeds for E. coli are estimated at 17,000 rpm but motors of some marine vibrios have been clocked upward of 100,000 rpm. (Darwin’s Nemesis p. 215)
The type III secretory system (TTSS) portion of the bacterial flagellum has a function elsewhere, however, the other thirty proteins in the flagellar motor, that are not present in the TTSS, are unique to the motor and are not found in any other living system. From whence were these protein parts co-opted? Even if all the protein parts were somehow available to make a flagellar motor during the evolution of life, the parts would need to be assembled in the correct temporal sequence similar to the way an automobile is assembled in a factory. Finally, the phylogenetic analyses of the gene sequences show that the flagella proteins arose first and those of the TSS came later. In other words, if anything, the TSS (less complex) evolved from the flagellum (more complex). (Darwin’s Nemesis p. 222)
As those who embrace the truth that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, is the One true and living God who created all things seen and unseen, we see no contradiction in the findings of molecular biology and the truth contained in the very first book of the Bible, the book of Genesis. Whether it is the intrinsic and extrinsic pathways that allow blood coagulation to take place, or it is the unique design of the bacterial flagellum, we see the glory of God in His creation and the confirmation of His Truth according to His Word. The living Word, Jesus of Nazareth, as well as the written Word, the Bible. (John 1:3)
The laws of Biogenesis and Thermodynamics are never seen to be broken in the natural world.  Thus, life could not come from non-life and the Universe could not create itself.  We do actually need a supernatural source to create the Universe and also design and create life.
We KNOW from studying the chemistry involved that the so-called building blocks of life cannot survive in the wild.  Furthermore, if they did survive they would be racemic.  Only left-handed amino acids can be assembled into DNA.
But DNA does no good unless it is coded to transmit information and information is not produced by any natural source.  DNA is a four-letter code, more sophisticate and robust than the binary code we use for programming computers.  So we need an outside source to write the code for DNA.  Each kind of organism has a different set of coding instructions in their DNA.
It gets worse for Darwinists.  DNA can only exist within the cell, and it and the cell are powered by the ATP Synthase machine, which is coded by DNA and needs a cell to exist.  Furthermore, DNA itself is not sufficient to reproduce another organism, the cell has meta-information and oversees the reproductive process.  So cell and DNA and ATP Synthase are totally dependent upon each other and cannot exist alone.
Worse yet for Darwinists, the cell is not viable unless it is alive.  The makeup of a dead cell and a living cell is exactly the same, but the living cell has something else within it besides information which is not material in form or substance - life.  Yet another concept we cannot possibly observe separate from living creatures.  Scientists do not actually know what life is or where it came from...unless they are aware of God and realize that God provided the information, the coding, the life and the construction of all living things.  We are all full of hundreds of trillions of miniature machines,  all whirring away at tremendously efficient speeds, all being continually rebuilt and error-checked as DNA and the cell provide the oversight and the information needed for every single function of the approximately 100 trillion cells that make up your body.   Meanwhile, for each cell you have about ten hitchhikers, for instance the bacteria that live inside your digestive system helping you break down food and ingest it and convert it into energy to power all those cells.  You need these bacteria to live and they depend on you for life.  You are a walking planet!  Think about THAT!
Unless the Flying Spaghetti Monster is a nano-engineer and transcends the material world, I have my doubts that FSM created ANYTHING other than a lot of mirth and piles of intellectual bull manure that would rival the output of all the cattle in Texas.  Into the Darwinist Hall of Shame with you...and no, you cannot take the Parmesan cheese with you!  I need that for stuffed green peppers!
I will leave the last word to the REAL GOD, Creator of all things!
Psalm 33
English Standard Version (ESV)
The Steadfast Love of the Lord
33 Shout for joy in the Lord, O you righteous!
    Praise befits the upright.
Give thanks to the Lord with the lyre;
    make melody to him with the harp of ten strings!
Sing to him a new song;
    play skillfully on the strings, with loud shouts.
For the word of the Lord is upright,
    and all his work is done in faithfulness.
He loves righteousness and justice;
    the earth is full of the steadfast love of the Lord.
By the word of the Lord the heavens were made,
    and by the breath of his mouth all their host.
He gathers the waters of the sea as a heap;
    he puts the deeps in storehouses.
Let all the earth fear the Lord;
    let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him!
For he spoke, and it came to be;
    he commanded, and it stood firm.
10 The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing;
    he frustrates the plans of the peoples.
11 The counsel of the Lord stands forever,
    the plans of his heart to all generations.
12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
    the people whom he has chosen as his heritage!
13 The Lord looks down from heaven;
    he sees all the children of man;
14 from where he sits enthroned he looks out
    on all the inhabitants of the earth,
15 he who fashions the hearts of them all
    and observes all their deeds.
16 The king is not saved by his great army;
    a warrior is not delivered by his great strength.
17 The war horse is a false hope for salvation,
    and by its great might it cannot rescue.
18 Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him,
    on those who hope in his steadfast love,
19 that he may deliver their soul from death
    and keep them alive in famine.
20 Our soul waits for the Lord;
    he is our help and our shield.
21 For our heart is glad in him,
    because we trust in his holy name.
22 Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us,
    even as we hope in you.
