People may cry that they have their rights, but actually have no idea of the ultimate source of rights. Indeed, this is similar to when folks say that they deserve something, but cannot really say why.

Simply demanding something and saying that it is a human right does not make what is desired necessary — or even a right. Sure, the state can grant legal rights, but those can be capricious and even removed. True rights do have an ultimate source, but this is in stark contrast to what secular people desire.

<img alt="People claim to have rights. The Dobbs decision in 2022 reversed Roe. Democrats were outraged because they thought their leftist sacred sacrament was threatened, and there are many false statements about the "right to an abortion" being ended. Abortion was never a right. Even if it was a "Constitutional human right" as some claim, the Constitution can be changed through amendments.

Secularists try to stand for human rights, but they cannot be consistent. Immoral things are touted as "rights" and laws enacted to protect them, but the human rights of others (such as Christians) are trampled. In reality, the most consistent way to view and implement human rights is to go back to Genesis and the image of God. Some rights are stated directly, while others need to be set in writing using biblical principles.

The existence of human rights, or prima facie entitlements applying to all persons on account of their humanity, is often treated as a basic assumption in ethics, law, and justice. Many ethical dilemmas concern conflicting claims to rights, and voices on both sides of major controversies like abortion frequently frame their arguments in terms of rights. But all this discourse is meaningless unless the rights referred to are grounded in a meaningful foundation. If such a foundation exists and is knowable, then we can understand which rights exist, which rights take precedence, and how to resolve controversies surrounding rights.

This article is not a quick read, but very useful. Overall, his was better than mine — and well-suited for Question Evolution Day. We will get to that later.

I had written about how believers in atoms-to-atheist evolution are actually wasting time and money. The secular science industry is getting uppity, acting like they have the truth, and froward people who have the temerity to question evolution are bad. (Once again, I must say that there are scientists who simply want to do science stuff, they're swept along by the organizations over them.) The propagandists at the Darwin Ranch over yonder near Deception Pass bamboozle the public into believing that evolution is an irresistible force.

Not only is the secular science industry promoting leftist causes, they are using social(ist) media as well as movies, television, literature, and others to spread their views. One purpose of Question Evolution Day is to encourage free speech, but notice how feral evolutionists ridicule those of us who do not float downstream with the rest of them.

The Intelligent Design folks as well as biblical creationists show that Darwin's acolytes do not have superior science and knowledge, nor do they use proper logic when interpreting their observations. Instead, they have bluster, evolution popularizers who are not really scientists, and a heapin' helpin' of posturing.

Atheists and secular humanists (the two are pretty much indistinguishable) blow smoke in our eyes, equivocating on evolution and science as well as change and science. Something happens that doesn't fit the evolutionary paradigm? They pretend to be excited about what is actually devastating news, saying it provides new "evolutionary insight" or other nonsense. Indeed, they do some things that are truly bizarre by claiming loss of features is evolution, and claim victory when something actually shows the opposite of evolution. Instead of praising evolution, the boardrooms of the secular science industry echo with, "Hail Darwin! Blessed be!" This child wonders if they're being deliberately deceptive, or don't even know about evolution.

These people are promoting adherence to science as the answer to everything. Materialists believe in atoms but not Eve, and there is no Creator (Psalm 14:1, Proverbs 1:8). This is a religious view called Scientism.

You can be a part of Question Evolution Day, now and in the future!

A big black rapper called Cowboy Troy had a song several years ago titled "I Play Chicken with the Train." Not necessarily. There is an established set of five senses that humans have as well as many animals, but there may be some that are unknown or mostly untested.

Bats are creepy to some people. Part of that can be blamed by silly movies, Halloween-type images, obscurity, and odd habits. If you study on it a spell, pets that people own have some strange characteristics that we excuse because the pets are familiar. Do pets have a sixth sense? It has been determined that Earth's magnetic field (that force shield that protects the planet) gives critters something to use for navigation. (Although scientists can be cruel when getting what they want, the bats were apparently unharmed and able to take up where they left off.) The entire process shows the specified complexity of the Creator's design work, and is unexplainable by evolutionary concepts.

Echolocation (or SONAR—Sound Navigation and Ranging) is not the only method a bat employs to get its bearings. Like some other animals, migrating bats can make use of the earth’s magnetic field to orientate themselves, including flying over large stretches of featureless ocean. This ability is called magnetoreception, and has been referred to as a sixth sense. Tiny particles of magnetic iron oxide (magnetite; Fe3O4) are thought to play a role. The mechanism is far from clear, but the cornea, a transparent ‘window’ in front of the iris and pupil of the eye, has been suggested as a possibly significant part of this navigation system in mammals:

To read the rest, navigate your way over to "Bats ‘see’ the earth’s magnetic field." A man insisted that he was dead. His family was upset and tried to convince him otherwise, but to no avail (post-mortem muscle responses, all that sort of thing). They took him to his doctor who asked him if dead men bleed. The man thought about it for a spell, then admitted that it was not possible. The doctor alcohol-swabbed his thumb, jabbed it, and they watched bright red blood coming out. "What do you know?" the man said. "Dead men do bleed!"

It's a good story to show presuppositions, and can be funny if told correctly, but I wanted to make a point: Facts do not matter if someone chooses to believe a story. Papa Darwin works in millions of years his wonders to perform, and secularists want to make sure they're available to him. They make assumptions about radiometric dating, deal from the bottom of the deck. Also, they exclude creationists who ask the tough questions and bring up points of discussion that they'd rather not face. The uncontaminated truth supports recent creation.

The study of “environmental DNA” (eDNA) is a rapidly advancing field. Each group interprets evidence according to their worldviews, and sometimes people with a similar mindset (such as evolutionists) have disagreements within their ranks. For that matter, biblical creationists are not in lockstep, either.

Africa has an abundance of interesting wildlife, and the island of Madagascar has some unique critters as well (some are cute, some are dangerous). Darwinists try to work them into their schemes. Paleontologists found something they called Adalatherium hui that cannot be classified. Others admit there is no insight, and they have to deal with it. But how can it break evolutionary rules when those alleged rules are extremely inconsistent? Scientific laws don't work that way, old son. They are consistent because the Master Engineer designed them that way so science would be possible in the first place.

Evolution theory has been challenged yet again, this time in regard to a unique mammal fossil discovered in East Africa, “A team of 14 international researchers...published the comprehensive description and analysis of this opossum-sized mammal that lived among dinosaurs and massive crocodiles near the end of the Cretaceous period (145-66 million years ago) on Madagascar.”

. . .

With such strange and unique features, it’s a daunting task to attempt to classify Adalatherium in an evolutionary tree. For instance, “its skeleton is nothing short of outlandish” and the teeth are “beyond bizarre.”

Therefore, evolutionists have determined that Adalatherium should be classified as a Gondwanatherian, a mysterious group quite different from other existing mammals. Indeed, those outfits even deny science when they support so-called transsexuality and "gender fluidity!"

There was a time when people would be hired because they were qualified to do the job at hand, but now there are cries of "diversity" and other things. It's not what you can do, but who you are — unless you're a white heterosexual male, then you're not important to leftist agendas.

Secularists have been helping to destroy God's design for marriage and the family. They support abortion, homosexuality, polygamy, and more. There comes a point where God essentially says, "Do what you want." 2 Thessalonians 2:11 is about the end times where God sends a strong delusion to those who reject him. However, the principle is seen in Romans 1:28 and other places where God gives people over to their rebellion and their minds are darkened. If you study on it, what should make sense in matters of sexuality and the sanctity of life is rejected by sheeple. Instead, they approve of what is evil and vote to keep wicked people in office. And the secular science industry is in the thick of it.

For the last few years, Big Science has been on the LGBTQIA+whatever bandwagon, justifying it with the euphemisms “Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity.” They abbreviate these as DEI, but since Equity came in last, it should be DIE. And science died. Around this time, phrases in the Apostles Creed and the Nicene Creed may come to mind about Jesus being born of Mary, a virgin.

No, scoffers, that was not parthenogenesis, but a full-on miracle. Those people deny miracles because they presuppose materialism, which forces a rejection of miracles, and also forces circular reasoning.

The Virgin Birth has been affirmed by Christian denominations for a mighty long time. It was prophesied in the Old Testament and affirmed in the New Testament.

<img alt="The virgin birth of Jesus is clearly a part of Christmas. The entire birthing process was the same as for any other woman. (Also, I disagree with lyricist William J. Kirkpatrick where lowing cattle wake up baby Jesus and "no crying he makes." He probably did show all present that his lungs worked.) People are satisfied with saying virgin birth and there's no reason to try to correct them, but what really happened is the virgin conception. That may seem like playing with words, but it's important.

What follows is a detailed article that covers definitions, the theological importance from both Testaments, and why the biblical records are reliable. However, one can easily wonder if believers in universal common descent evolution wish that this skunky punk rock chicken with the lovely plumage had gone extinct long ago. Therefore, they were leftovers from our evolutionary past. This seems downright arbitrary and presumptuous, especially since the science of genetics (pioneered by Gregor Mendel, peas be upon him) was still growing.

It turns out that there is no junk (creationists were right, again), and the usefulness of non-coding areas is still being discovered. The Cis-regulatory elements are important, and evolutionists are certain that they are play a big part in divergence. They think it's matters in evolution and divergence. Once again, we see that naturalist presuppose evolution; They don't seem to pull back on the reins, stop, and ask, "Why are we trying to determine when these here flutterbyes diverged when we don't have any evidence of evolution in the first place? There's no evidence in the fossil record, either." They just keep riding that horse through the desert of non-science. As I have said before, all this grandeur is in a wrecked world, and we cannot conceive of what it was like before the Genesis Flood. Now I'm backing off on the "wrecked" part. Somewhat.

In the midst of judgment by the deluge, our Creator was reworking the planet. The world was made to be beautiful because it is a part of his nature, and also for our benefit. He would not provide for Noah and his family to be saved, then repopulation, so people would see piles of rubble for thousands of years.

<img alt="We cannot imagine the beauty of the world before the Flood, but what we have now is gorgeous. Geologists, both secular and creation, know that water is instrumental in a number of geologic processes. Not only was there water in the Flood, there was also volcanism, the Ice Age caused by the Flood, and true climate change.

Secular geologists use uniformitarian processes, but slow changes over alleged deep time cannot adequately explain what is observed. Biblical creation science models provide superior explanations. This article describes five ways that God made the world into what we see today.

What an amazing world we live in! Such varied and dramatic landscapes, from the endless dunes of the Sahara to the lofty peaks of the Himalayas and the volcanic Hawaiian Islands. We marvel at their beauty and breathtaking scale, in awe of the Creator who produced such grandeur.

But if you take a closer look, you’ll discover a very different story. All these grand features speak of massive changes in the past, on a scale never observed today. While looking for substitutes and ways to make alloys, it was discovered that an alloy called tetrataenite had properties that scientists wanted. But the main material is from meteorites. While finding meteorites and extracting the ore is unlikely to solve the problem, something interesting happened.

They presupposed deep time and that tetrataenite needed millions of years to form. How do they know that it took so long? When doing things the right way, this stuff formed in seconds. (Similar assumptions that gemstones took millions of years to form were overturned as well.) All of this gives biblical creationists cause to celebrate because deep-time assumptions were shown to be false.

Rare-earth magnets are essential for electric vehicles and wind turbines. They are also important in computer hard drives, cordless tools, microphones, loudspeakers, and hand-powered flashlights. But what is a ‘rare earth’? ‘Rare earth’ is the name of a group of metals called the lanthanides, plus scandium and yttrium. . . .

However, the major problem with rare earths is their availability. Note, NOT rarity, despite the misnomer—samarium is more plentiful than tin, while neodymium is about five times more common—about as plentiful as cobalt, nickel, or copper. The problem is mining it: they are not in concentrated seams, so a lot of material must be mined to extract enough of the metal. So the mines are quite environmentally disruptive.

To read the entire article, see "Cosmic magnets vs long-age dogma."

Piltdown Supermanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15113008553245076610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21317674.post-5390158928691196562022-11-20T05:00:00.143-05:002022-11-20T05:00:00.170-05:00Nobel Prize Fails to Support Evolution
We have seen numerous times that believers in universal common descent evolution puff up and crow about a discovery, only to have it turn out to be a hot steaming pile of nothing. Although there is not a Nobel Prize for evolution, the subject helps researchers garner accolades.

It is ironic that the committee as well as the researchers themselves were apparently so locked into preaching evolution that they did not realize their research had the opposite result of what they claimed; there were problems with science and logic that were missed.

<img alt="Nobel Prize-winning research on Neanderthal DNA was touted as evidence for evolution. They were extremely careful to avoid contamination, as it is extremely easy to contaminate something old with modern DNA, which can happen in ways most people would not imagine. It seems a bit like closing the barn door after the animals escaped, since fossils have been in conditions that would not only be prone to contamination, but also deterioration from the elements.

The dates assigned to the fossils are suspect, and claims of evolution actually work the opposite way. Neanderthals were, as we know, fully human and interbred with other humans. They were descendants of Noah's sons and part of the dispersion at Babel.

Pääbo’s team first sequenced Neanderthal mitochondria from a single bone. Then the team sequenced ancient DNA found in the nucleus from three Neanderthal bone specimens. The bone specimens came from the Vindija cave in Croatia, and also from Neanderthals found in Germany, Russia, and Spain. Eventually Pääbo sequenced the three billion base pairs of the entire Neanderthal genome. Then, Pääbo sequenced DNA from a finger bone discovered in a cave in southern Siberia.

Success in completing these tasks were widely believed to be impossible. So far paleogenomics has complete genetic sequencing on almost 8,000 “ancient” individuals.

To read it all, see "Nobel Prize for Human Non-Evolution." That is the place offshore of the Yucatán Peninsula down Mexico way where some folks say a big space rock (asteroid, comet, meteorite) struck and caused the dinosaurs to take a dirt nap.

The evidence is not compelling that something that big and powerful struck, but maybe something smaller actually hit. Secular scientists are now adding to the lore: The impact caused massive tsunamis and earthquakes.

Big waves on the sea, PxHere

In "Rejecting the Dinosaur Extinction Consensus," we saw that scientists are reversing some claims about how the Chicxulub crash caused volcanic activity, which contributed to dinosaur demise. Other scientists are using that event and making it bigger. It supposedly caused earthquakes and tsunamis. However, the presentations are incomplete, leaving out some important details about what else would have happened.

Notice again how uniformitarian geologists who insist on slow and gradual processes over long periods of time will occasionally use catastrophism in one form or another. They are admitting that there are weaknesses in their beliefs. Unfortunately, they do not "follow where the science leads" because the evidence leads to the hugely catastrophic Genesis Flood. Creation science Flood models offer far better explanations than those promoted by secularists — including earthquakes, volcanism, and tsunamis.

Two separate studies claim massive tsunamis and earthquakes from an asteroid impact profoundly affected the rock record. One research team modeled a 1.5 km (1 mile) high water wave that propagated across the ocean following the Chicxulub impact, causing sweeping erosion across the ocean floor. Another report asserted the same impact generated a mega-earthquake that caused twisted and contorted sedimentary layering around the world. However, claims of a massive dinosaur-killing impact in the Yucatan Peninsula are not compelling. Instead, these global phenomena are better explained by the global Flood described in Genesis.

To read the rest, sail over to "Massive Tsunamis Generated by the Flood, Not an Asteroid."

Piltdown Supermanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15113008553245076610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21317674.post-23504526976329165052022-11-06T05:00:00.086-05:002022-11-06T05:00:00.171-05:00Even Aphids Make Darwin Sad
Once again, we are going to examine an unpleasant creature because it shows the design work of the Master Engineer. The best evidence indicated that it was a perching bird, case closed. But no, viperine Darwinist owlhoots not only redefine terms, but they use their self-serving cladistics. Worse, some creationists are using that nonsense.

<img alt="Archaeopteryx was shown to be a true but unusual bird. Some seem to figure, "Evolutionists are wrong but they're really swell folks and honest at heart, and hey, cladistics is a tool to work with, so let's use that." Bad idea. Cladistics involves circular reasoning: Assuming evolution to prove evolution. Creationists should be above such poor logic and judgment.

The paper featured here discusses the problem of cladistics. Also, why baraminology should leave it alone and how using it causes problems. We also see some of the history of Archie (including how some people originally thought it was fake or tried to classify it in various ways). Some of the paper will probably be skimmed by most readers, that's fine. The most important part is how, despite dishonesty among Darwin's cheerleaders, Archaeopteryx is not part dinosaur, not a transitional form, it's an interesting but extinct bird.

Archaeopteryx has been one of the most studied fossils since its discovery in 1861. Yet, the classification of the species is still under debate. Many controversies remain regarding the feather, taxonomic classification, flight capabilities, its “evolution,” and whether Archaeopteryx is a transitional form, a reptile with feathers, or a bird. This paper’s scope is to briefly discuss the latter controversy because it has kept creation and secular scientists’ view divided. The history of Archaeopteryx findings, their historical interpretations, the role of Linnaean and cladistics classification methods, and the implications of all that on Archaeopteryx’s classification were analyzed. This analysis demonstrates its placement as a bird is supported.

You can read it all at "The Debate over Classification of Archaeopteryx as a Bird." Also of interest is a bird with interesting similarities to Archie, "Hoatzin Bird Hassles Evolutionists."

Piltdown Supermanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15113008553245076610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21317674.post-15261452122094784902022-10-09T05:00:00.128-04:002022-10-09T05:00:00.145-04:00Bird Embryo Foolishness for Dinosaur Evolution
Just recently I was jawing with Hammond Suisse about how if evolution were true, the hands at the Darwin Ranch would not need fraud and desperately weak science to prop up their theory. Of course, secularists do not give the Creator credit for what they copied — which is still nowhere near as efficient as the original design.

Dogs have been trained to sniff out drugs, bombs, and even cancer (which scientists are attempting to copy). Nifty idea to have something small that can go into dangerous areas that would be hazardous for dogs or humans. We previously saw some interesting material by him in "Epicurus, Darwin, and the Spirit of his Age."

Mr. Thomas is a professing agnostic, and that is very unfortunate for him spiritually as well as influencing the three short articles that are being featured here. He is extremely intelligent and puts serious effort into his work. When looking up evolution by natural selection, it is common for some sites to say that Alfred Russel Wallace and Charles R. Darwin were its co-discoverers. How did Alfie get eclipsed?

<img alt="A different kind of article built on the history of how Darwin eclipsed Wallace, co-founder of evolution. Darwin

It did not help Wallace that he backed off on evolutionary views rather quickly, instead promoting something kinder and gentler. It could be considered an early form of today's Intelligent Design movement. I suspect that Alfred's non-atheistic approach is also a reason that he was becoming obscured. Meanwhile, Darwin was moving forward.

Something that is arguably difficult to grasp by modern American readers (and possibly by people in England today) is the class system. It was dominated by economics, but also had a culture of its own; people were considered "better" than others because of their social status. There was a loyalty of not only friendship, but also to the class.

Although people disagreed with Charlie's views, they were his loyal friends and helped to promote him anyway. Neil Thomas thinks that Darwin must have been a much nicer guy than those photographs and paintings project.

For this child, Christians could take some basic lessons from this. We are sharing the gospel of Christ and equipping other Christians (some of us have a ministry in biblical creation science). As members of the Christian class (that is, brothers and sisters by the blood of Christ), we need to support, encourage, and uphold one another. (Rebukes in love when necessary as well.)

Neil is coming from his worldview, and I am doing the same. I perceive that when he discusses advocates of Darwin's acceptance in these formerly United States, there is a spiritual component that an agnostic cannot perceive. Louis Agassiz was established and respected in America but was critical of evolution. Asa Gray defended Darwin to Agassiz, even saying that perhaps God used evolution. What I suggest is that the effort to replace God was a spiritual impetus to make Darwinism acceptable in America.

Instead of believing Scripture as so many had done (and a few were still using Scripture with science), Christians were ceding science to materialists. If scientists believe that the world is old, yee haw boy howdy, it must be so! Must be time to say that the Bible has myths and allegories, innit? Deep time is indispensable for evolution, so feckless Christians of yore inadvertently gave evolution a boost by accepting it despite lack of evidence.

Thomas said that the English class system and advocates for evolution in America were reasons Charlie not only succeeded, but why Wallace was being lost from view. A third reason is that Darwin's loyal friends, despite their own beliefs, loyally provided propaganda. Again, Christians should take notice of loyalty to brothers and sisters, and especially to the cross of Christ.

Now I suggest that you read the three articles without my interruptions:

Why Darwin Eclipsed Wallace: Darwin and the English Class System

Why Darwin Eclipsed Wallace: Darwin Comes to America

Why Darwin Eclipsed Wallace: The Role of Propaganda

As I did in the other post, I am asking people to pray for Neil Thomas that he will humble himself and submit his life to Jesus Christ.

Piltdown Supermanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15113008553245076610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21317674.post-76460438492825091692022-09-18T05:00:00.109-04:002022-09-18T05:00:00.149-04:00Penguin DNA Study Tainted by Evolutionary GuessworkPenguins are actually more diverse than many people may realize. But what makes these birds so unique and the subject of continued scientific research? Reuters recently highlighted the research of Theresa Cole and others on penguins, as they look to obtain a more robust understanding of what makes penguins unique both physically and genetically.

To keep reading, swim on over to "Penguins: All Dressed Up and Nowhere to Go." You may also be interested in "Penguin Eggs Put Evolutionary Thinking on Ice."

Piltdown Supermanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15113008553245076610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21317674.post-89654717266542817412022-09-11T05:00:00.089-04:002022-09-11T05:00:00.179-04:00Getting a Kick out of Ice Age Footprints
Two researchers were on a U.S. Air Force test range in Utah's West Desert looking for signs of campfires from way back when, but they found footprints instead. These went back to the Ice Age, and were formed by rather interesting conditions. They are similar to Ice Age tracks in other parts of the world.

Biblical creation scientists and their secular counterparts agree that there was an Ice Age, but then they part ways. Secularists believe in numerous ice ages, but they only have enough evidence to hang their hats on only one.

Beach footprints via Freepik

Bare feet making tracks in the Ice Age? That required wet conditions. The formation of the Ice Age requires unique conditions that secularist cannot explain with their deep-time beliefs, even using fundamentally-flawed concepts do not help. Creation science models of the Genesis Flood and the conditions at the time provide satisfactory answers about how it happened. It also explains why ancient Egypt and Israel were desirable places to live.

Anthropologists Thomas Urban (Cornell University) and Daron Duke (Far Western Anthropological Research Group) recently found preserved human footprints on an Air Force testing range located on the salt flats of Utah. These footprints are called “ghost tracks” because they are very hard to see except after rainfall when moisture can make them visible. Ground-penetrating radar revealed the presence of even more impressions for a total of 88 footprints.

To finish reading, stroll on over to "Fossil Footprints Fit Flood Ice-Age Model."

Piltdown Supermanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15113008553245076610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21317674.post-71047140928362746462022-09-04T05:00:00.086-04:002022-09-04T05:00:00.170-04:00Evolutionists Worried about MoralityMaterialists presuppose that reality is comprised of things made of atoms and such, so there is no room in their belief systems for intangible things — especially the supernatural. And yet, they cannot account for morality and ethics. After all, we are just dancing to our electrochemical impulses, right?

When misotheists ridicule Christians and creationists, they are being hypocritical. In their worldview, we are born this way and they are born the way they are. Their actions belie their claims and show that something more is going on.

<img alt="Darwin's disciples are complaining about massive fraud within the secular science industry. So what? Those jaspers are simply being consistent with their fundamentally-flawed worldview, doing what they think will make them more fit to survive. In fact, the pay-to-cheat industry is not just limited to high school term papers. Materialists are reaping what they have sown.

It is ironic that some of them cry about lack of ethics in their own ranks, but perpetuate the lie that humans and chimps have a ninety-eight percent DNA similarity.

True morality comes from God as revealed in the Bible.
