Why I read Angel and have added Lista and Zilla to my blogroll

The blogger and his wife at the pro, top picture before dancing and bottom picure after bustin' some moves...

If one woman is enough for a man (and my wife sure is just right for me) then three women should be great for the blogging world!!!

Allow me to present three women who blog thoughtfully and with purpose...Maybe you will visit them now and again?

Angel writes the WomanHonorThyself blog.   She recently posted this smile of a post but very often is dedicated to pointing out to the world the horror that is radical Islam!

One of her commenters is named Lista, and I thought she said something interesting and so went to find her blog.   I saw a post that caught my interest (Only God can change hearts) and posted this comment:

"As to predestination and determinism, I agree that God's foreknowledge of what we will do is not a description of a puppeteer and puppets.   We know we have free will to do as we decide and this has been available to man since the beginning when we chose to disobey God.

One problem is our comprehension of God.  He is just and true, so it would be against His nature to force anyone to sin or force anyone to do right.   He transcends time, so He doesn't merely navigate it but in fact it is not in any way a boundary to Him.  God created time along with existence and information and life and etc.

We think of God being everywhere at once but actually closer to the truth would be that everywhere and everything at all times is one point of comprehension and understanding to the Mind of God.  We tend to think of him as a big powerful superman but He is beyond our comprehension.  Your goldfish understands you better than we can grasp onto God.   We do the best we can by studying His Word and seeking to communicate with Him as He tells us...prayer is both speaking and listening."

Then I added her to my blogroll.  I figured she would understand what I was saying, whether she agreed or not and I needed to add her to my links.   Checking out what Lista was all about led me to Zilla of the Resistance.   I read a couple of posts and had to add her, too.

Zilla, take a bow:

It's National Tell Congress To Impeach Obama Day!

Today, April 15, 2011, is the day that thousands of Americans are contacting their Congressional Representatives to demand that they begin proceedings to impeach Obama for his multiple acts of treason and violations of his oath of office. Make your voice heard! Call, fax, email and/or snail mail TODAY! Even if you read this after business hours, you can still do it in the very near future, but today is the day of the big event to melt the lines and make them feel the heat! Only the House can move to impeach, so you need to call your congresscritter. Call Congress at (202) 224-3121 and ask to be put through to your Representative.  You can also call Speaker Boehner at (202)225-6205.

Here is the Facebook event page about today's movement.
Legally, the House of Representatives, are the part of the legislative branch that can Impeach a president. Fax, Email, Write, or Call your Representative. They work for YOU.
You can find a partial list of some of Obama's impeachable offenses in this article by Michael Connelly HERE:
Article II, Section 4 of the Constitution provides as follows:
“The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors."
I contend that among those high crimes and misdemeanors is the intentional violation of the oath of office administered to the President and all other federal officials. In fact, federal law at 5 U.S.C. 7311 specifically provides that violation of the oath of office includes advocating the overthrowing of our constitutional form of government. This is specifically declared a criminal offense in 18 U.S.C. 1918 and is punishable by both a fine and imprisonment. RTWT
Paul Vallely makes the case for why Obama should be impeached at Stand Up America
Impeach Obama and Demand Resignation of a Regime

In the course of American history, when the nation was most in need of a leader who could rally the nation to literally survive catastrophes, a common man has come forth and done so, with valor, clarity of purpose, and vision. These unassuming, surprising men, like George Washington, Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, FDR and Ronald Reagan, to name a few, each with their foibles and critics, stood up and secured the security and prosperity of this nation, FIRST and FOREMOST! Each gave the nation a sense of purpose and vision, instilled with legitimate hope, and changed the course of the ship of state away from the rocks, and into navigable waters leading to victory, recovery, and success.

In the course of modern day events, unfolding by the minute, America has never been more in need of such leadership. However, we are now in a situation where the current leadership (or lack thereof) of the nation has done something quite extraordinary, they have found a way to do destroy America. They have charted a course of designed failure. True leaders do not lay blame upon others, they do not lie to, and manipulate the citizenry, they do not cast personal aspersions, they do not cloud arguments, they do not twist facts, they lead by example. They do what is in the best interest of the nation, FIRST!

Sadly, we see that “leadership”, like many common terms, has taken on new meaning; one more akin to ‘high crimes and misdemeanors’, and in the opinion of many; treason…

Exemplifying the point

President Obama’s last national speech: Was just another example of Obama doing what he does best – Dishonesty, Distortions and More Taxes.

America literally faces its demise, economically, morally, ethically, and foundationally. America has been shaken to its very core, and Mr. Obama and the current leaders in his administration and in Congress have achieved what Obama campaigned upon; a fundamental transformation of America. Unfortunately, this was not what Americans bargained for, and we can no longer stand by and wait for the election cycle, politics as usual, and party entrenchment of power to correct the path.

The list of reasons why this is true have been well documented, and the crimes committed well surpass any cogent argument defending the current leadership and in order to reverse the damage, dramatic change is now truly needed. Change, not for change’s sake, but change from this “Road to Ruin.” It is clear to Americans of all walks of life, to those who look through a clear non-ideological lens, that the course we have been steered upon is undeniably not in the best interest of our nation.

Impeach and Demand Resignations

It is therefore now time for the Impeachment of President Barack Hussein Obama and a call for Demand Resignations of Vice President Joe Biden and other politically appointed members of the Obama Administration. This must be done swiftly to save this country from further destruction at home and abroad. Never in the history of this great land have I studied or experienced such a degree of ineptness and incompetence of our governing body, one that borders on treasonous activity if it is not simple ineptitude.

Many people responded to me last year, stating that the demand for resignations would not work…but the program has worked, very effectively, for over a year, in getting rid of some of the “deadwood”. But we are not finished yet in our quest to rid Washington of the greedy, inept, corrupt, in sometime treasonous career politicians/appointees, and those who tread upon and violate the Constitution of the United States openly and notoriously without shame.

Obama’s Progressive Socialist agenda, his lack of leadership skills, honesty and experience, his policy and program initiatives, his executive orders and appointments, all have led this country to a new low in credibility and respect, not only in the United States but from all corners of the world.  READ THE REST
Of course his actions in Libya alone qualify him for impeachment, as explained in THIS letter to the editor which is posted at The JAG HUNTER:
On Saturday, March 19, President Barack Obama committed a crime, which requires his immediate impeachment. Invoking authorization from the Arab League and the United Nations, Obama ordered an attack on Libya.

Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution is unequivocal — the power to declare war rests solely with the United Sates Congress, and can only legitimately be used when the United States is under attack or faces an imminent threat. The civil war in Libya does not meet these standards.
The first article of impeachment should list Obama’s violation of his oath to uphold the Constitution. The second article should address his treason against the United States. Obama acted under the direction of a group of foreign diplomats. He did not seek approval from the American people by going before Congress to seek authorization. In essence, Obama is acting as an agent of foreign governments, not as the president of the United States.
Obama has put members of our military at risk. He has committed scarce resources to a conflict that is of no vital interest to the United States. RTR
Not enough for you? Well here's some more of Obama's treason (treason is impeachable, you know) via Atlas Shrugs (and I'm re-posting the whole thing here including excerpts from Pajamas Media because I don't want you to miss any of it):

High Treason: Obama and Holder Drop Indictments Against Muslim Brotherhood-Tied Group CAIR et al at DoJ

For years Atlas and Atlas readers wanted to know why there were no indictments and prosecutions of the Muslim Brotherhood co-conspirators (CAIR, ISNA, ICNA, MAS) named in the largest terror funding trial in US history (here, for example).  Obama and Holder appear to have scuttled them, much the same way as they dropped the voter intimidation charges against the Black Panthers (a case that was, by and large, already won).

I have been waiting on an explosive FOIA -- and the DoJ has been unresponsive, pushing back my request to an indeterminate time due to "backlog."

Remember in 2012 to volunteer, support, and campaign for politicans who promise to follow through on prosecuting Muslim Brotherhood terror-tied groups in the US. DO IT!
Did Obama and Holder Scuttle Terror Finance Prosecutions? PJM
High-level source concedes DOJ let off CAIR co-founders and others for political reasons.

During the House Homeland Security hearing last month on the topic of radicalization in the American Muslim community, one exchange between L.A. County Sheriff Lee Baca and Rep. Chip Cravaack (R-MN) concerned the relationship between the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department and Hamas terrorist front the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). Sheriff Baca told the congressman:
We don’t play around with criminals in my world. If CAIR is an organization that is a quote “criminal organization,” prosecute them. Hold them accountable and bring them to trial.
But according to a high-ranking source within the Department of Justice, who spoke exclusively to Pajamas Media on the condition of anonymity, Sheriff Baca, a long-time supporter of CAIR, was probably already in on the joke.
The joke is that a number of leaders of Islamic organizations (all of whom publicly opposed the King hearings on Muslim radicalization) were about to be indicted on terror finance support charges by the U.S. attorney’s office in Dallas, which had been investigating the case for most of the past decade.

But those indictments were scuttled last year at the direction of top-level political appointees within the Department of Justice (DOJ) — and possibly even the White House.

Included in those indictments was at least one of the co-founders of CAIR, based on “Declination of Prosecution of Omar Ahmad,” a March 31 DOJ legal memo from Assistant Attorney General David Kris to Acting Deputy Attorney General Gary Grindler. A second DOJ official familiar with the investigation independently confirmed these details. Omar Ahmad is one of CAIR’s co-founders and its chairman emeritus. He was personally named, along with CAIR itself, as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation terror finance trial in 2007 and 2008. During the trial FBI Agent Lara Burns testified that both Omar Ahmad and current CAIR executive director Nihad Awad were caught on FBI wiretaps attending a 1993 meeting of Hamas leaders in Philadelphia.

Dean Boyd, public affairs representative for the DOJ National Security Division, declined to provide me a copy of the March 31, 2010, memo dropping the Omar Ahmad prosecution. Directing me to submit a FOIA request, Boyd did say that “as a general rule, internal DOJ deliberation memos spelling out arguments for or against potential prosecution of any particular suspect are not public.”

Pajamas Media will be filing a FOIA request for all the related documents in this case.

According to my source, the chief reason outlined in the DOJ memo declining to prosecute CAIR co-founder Omar Ahmad was the issue of potential jury nullification. The first Holy Land Foundation trial in 2007 ended in a hung jury. When the case was retried in 2008, all five defendants, former executives of the Holy Land Foundation, were convicted on all 108 counts.

But, according to our DOJ source, possible jury nullification was hardly the primary issue in the DOJ’s scuttling of the terror finance prosecutions. “This was a political decision from the get-go,” the source said.
It was always the plan to initially go after the [Holy Land Foundation] leaders first and then go after the rest of the accomplices in a second round of prosecutions. From a purely legal point of view, the case was solid. Jim Jacks [the U.S. attorney in Dallas who prosecuted the Holy Land Foundation executives] and his team were ready to go. There’s a mountain of evidence against all of these groups that was never introduced during the Holy Land trial and it is damning. We’ve got them on wiretaps. That’s exactly why many of these leaders and groups were named unindicted co-conspirators in the first round of prosecutions.
But from a political perspective there was absolutely no way that they could move forward. That’s why this decision came from the top down. These individuals who were going to be prosecuted are still the administration’s interfaith allies. Not only would these Muslim groups and their friends in the media be screaming “Islamophobia” at the top of their lungs and that this is a war against Islam, but the administration would look like absolute fools. It’s kind of hard to prosecute someone on material support for terrorism when you have pictures of them getting handed awards from DOJ and FBI leaders for their supposed counter-terror efforts. How would Holder explain that when we’re carting off these prominent Islamic leaders in handcuffs for their role in a terror finance conspiracy we’ve been investigating for years? This is how bad the problem is. Why are we continuing to have anything to do with these groups knowing what we know?
Remember, we are the people who Congress gets paid to represent, it's their job to listen to us!  Yes, I know that they generally ignore us and one or ten calls won't do a lick of good, but thousands of calls, emails, faxes, letters, posts to the facebook pages and Twitter messages will get their attention! So please, take a few moments of your time and join thousands of your fellow citizens and make them hear us!

How about one from Lista?

Spiritual Pause - Only God Can Change Hearts.

Since my Previous Post has Reached 41 Comments and I Often Try to Limit the Length of my Comment Threads to..., Oh, I don't Know.  I guess to 50..., And since some Time has Passed since I Last Posted anyway, it is Time for me to Post Again.

As I Pause Briefly from Politics, it is not as if I do not Know What I want to Post about Next.  I Imagine my Next Post after this One will be Based on the Last Link that was Posted in the Comment Section of my Previous Post, yet for some Reason I Feel the Need to Pause before I Continue with that Subject.

There are Still Things that Over Whelm me at Times and I am Gradually Learning how to Manage the Stress.  One Thing that I Keep Forgetting is the Need to Stop and Ask God for his Help, which I am Doing Right Now.  Sometimes it just Feels more Right to Pause Briefly from Politics and Say Something that is more Spiritual.

Funny.  I didn't Know that I was Going to be Posting what I am Actually Thinking about Right Now and yet this is the One that Feels Right to me and it is Something that I Wrote Earlier Today in the Comment Thread Below a Post at Someone Else's Blog.  The Subject was Sociology, Behaviorism, Psychology and Control and not Politics, yet at the End, I'm Going to also Make a Statement about Politics as well.  Whatever is not in Italics was Added Later for the Purpose of this Post.  Here's what I Wrote...

"I Find it Interesting that you are Criticizing Sociology and when I Think about Sociology, Especially that which is Connected to Behaviorism, I Find that I have Issues with it Myself and the Reason is because it is all about Control, that is the Controlling of People's Behaviors through Rewards and Punishments.

"The Problem is that Some People Simply can not be Controlled and the Reason Why is because there are People who are Willing to Make whatever Sacrifices Necessary for the Sake of what they Believe and they will Endure the Punishment and/or Lack of Reward for the Sake of those Beliefs.  This is the Reason why Most Psychologists (Non-Behaviorists) realize that it is Necessary to Change the Way People Think and not just the Way in which they Behave.  Only this can Result in a Change that will Actually Last.

"Changing Beliefs, though, is Difficult as Well.  In Christianity, we are Taught that it is God who Changes the Hearts of Men.  In Light of this, any Real Change has to Come from God, so the Best that any of us can do is just Submit to Him and Pray for those who are Caught up in an Error.

"Neither Government, nor Sociology, nor even Psychology can Change the Hearts of Man.  Only God can do that."

These are the Sort of Spiritual Thoughts that Make me Wonder if even the Practice of Blogging About Politics is Worth it.  Though when I Originally Wrote this, it was about Sociology and Psychology, the Idea that it is God who Changes Hearts is also Connected to the Fruitlessness of Political Debate.  I don't know that Debate is Necessarily Fruitless, yet what I do Know is that if there is Any Chance at all that the Debate is not Entirely Fruitless, it is the Pausing and Focusing on God that will Make the Difference.

It is for This Reason that I Deliberately Slow Down my Blog and am not in a Hurry.

And then who started all this in the first place?   Angel, of course!  I linked the one below already.

Arab children: Born to Kill?

Palestinians are killing their children because they make effective delivery systems for killing Israelis.bombani-buddy
They also sacrifice them because wounded or dead children paint Israelis as heartless and cruel in the eyes of the world and the Israelis themselves.

What kind of a society consciously and purposely sacrifices its own youth for political gain and tactical advantage?

Children Dying To Kill
Suicide bombers are an escalation of a small-arms war introduced during the first Intifada (1987-1993 Palestinian’s uprising) and championed by Palestinian leaders, even prior to Arafat’s arrival from Tunis in July 1994.

Today the overwhelming majority of Palestinian Arabs nurture a blind hatred of Israel. They created a cultural milieu of vengeance, violence and death - preparing their children to be sacrifices in a death cult.

Proud parents dress up their toddlers not in clown costumes, but with suicide belts, and countless others celebrate their children’s deaths with traditional sweet holiday cakes and candies.
So far, scores of children have died and countless more have been injured, orphaned, or displaced from their homes during this year’s Arab ahem…”uprisings”.bombaaa
Hear a peep from the media or cough cough..”Human Rights” organizatons?. Naw, they’re too busy shrieking bout Israel “building new homes”.
You know… Priorities.angry22ani
In Libya alone….nearly 35 percent of the population is under the age of 18.
So far….reports indicate that out of the 365 civilians killed in Tahrir Square,….13 were children. Part of the errr..”democracy rebellion” too?
Oh. And incidentally ..if your’e wonderin where your almighty TAX dollars are goin……….
Libya Mission Cost at $550 Million for U.S. Forces So Far.

Let’s Pay for Al-Queada Shall We

Gee, two comments in a row that weren't negative! Thanks, Zilla. Thanks, creeper, my wife loves my beard so even though I grew it as a kind of a contest with a friend I am going to keep it. Less shaving = Awesome!

What a great and friends today and great memories shared! God bless us every one!

Thanks, Radar, for the Complement. I Thought at First that there was no Place for Comments. I Guess I just Didn't Scan Down Far Enough.

What was the contest?

There is an Awful Lot Here to Read, Radar. It is a Good Thing that I have already Read Angel's and of Course, Mine.

I was Encouraged when I did my "How Many Times will the Text Fit Into my Computer Screen?" Test and Realized that My Post Only Filled my Computer Screen Twice, but the Other Two Filled my Computer Screen 8 Times. Angel's is Mostly Pictures, so that's Ok, yet Zella's Post is all Words.

I'm Sort of a Slow Reader and therefore, would not be Considering Reading Zella's Post, if Radar had not Recommended it and Said that it was a Good One, yet I'm Going to have to Plan to do it Sometimes when I am Relaxed and do not Feel Tired.

Sorry, Zella. I'm sometimes Overly Honest, yet Perhaps you may Benefit from what I have Said. I'll be Back, for I've already Decided that I am going to Read it.

Our new pastor had about a three day growth of beard and I had been teasing him about coming from the South and facing Nothern winters. I saw it and bet him I could have a full beard before his came all the way out. Six weeks later mine was ready to trim and his wasn't quite full yet so he conceded. It was just for grins. Turns out he and his wife spent a few years in Maine before he moved down South so growing a beard in winter was what he always did.

Anyway since my wife likes it and it means I can avoid shaving I am keeping it!

Well, I Only Read 1/2 of Zilla's Post, but it Turns Out that was Enough for me to Realize that this Applies to Another Conversation that I am Having Else Where on the Web.

It's a Silly Conversation Really. As Odd as it Seems, we are Comparing the Misstatements and Flaws of Glenn Beck, who is no Longer on the Air on Fox News, to the Misstatements and Flaws of Obama. Personally, I Think that the Comparison is rather Laughable and Zella's Post very Eloquently Shows Why. So I Posted a Link there to her Post on her Blog.

Thanks Radar. Your Approach of Bringing Several Very Good Blog Posts together has been both Interesting and Helpful.
