Living Fossils, a Persistent Evolutionary Problem

Universal common ancestor evolution is flexible, supple, and conveniently explains everything — which means it explains nothing. When evidence is found refuting evolution, Darwin's disciples ignore or tweak evidence. It is convenient to simply shloop it away because "stuff happens". Excuses about with living fossils.

Since evolution is so flexible it can explain everything, therefore nothing, Darwin's disciples make excuses for the big problem of living fossils.

The term living fossils goes back to Charles Darwin. Essentially, they are organisms that were either thought to be extinct and then found doing right well in the here and now, or living things are essentially the same as fossils dated millions of Darwin years old. There are many, and the name causes hurt feelings among some evolutionists.

The flexibility of evolutionary "explanations" kicks in when the irresistible force of evolution meet the immovable object of no appreciable change. This is evosplained as "stasis", but that is not scientific. Not only are these living fossils problematic for evolutionism, but they also indicate recent creation.
You don’t have to be a scientist to see living creatures that look like fossils. They’re everywhere. Just visit the local aquarium where you can find kids petting horseshoe crabs, listening to instructors drone about how the cousins of these so-called “living fossils” lived “450 million years ago.”

. . .

How can living creatures be so similar to fossils? It’s a puzzle to scientists who believe they’ve been evolving for hundreds of millions of years, but it’s no mystery to someone who believes God created every kind of creature just 6,000 years ago.
