Further Problems with Dragon Man

Although it sounds like a villain in a comic book, Dragon Man is causing consternation at the Darwin Ranch. (I was told that the fighting could be heard all over Deception Pass, even near Stinking Lake — which is not as bad as it sounds.) The hubbub is about where this H. longi character fits on the alleged human evolutionary tree. Some claim it is our ancestor, others say it is just another human variation. There are many questions remaining that raise considerable suspicion and concern.

The Dragon Man skull is highly disputed among evolutionists. Many questions are unanswered, and circumstances surrounding it are suspicious at best.
Let's face it, quite a few bad specimens and even outright fakes (such as the "Piltdown Chicken") have come from there. This "well-preserved" skull was supposedly found in the mud near the Dongjiang Bridge, then hidden in a well for several years. Bones don't last anywhere near as long as Darwin's disciples claim for this skull piece, and it was in and around water. Water makes things worse for finding and studying bones.

I lack belief that this skull is extremely old. Also, although reasonable information can be inferred from skull pieces, secularists seem to be making much out of little evidence. Indeed, we have seen many times that secularists are willing to use incomplete, faulty, and even fake evidence for their materialistic narrative and to suppress the truth of the Creator.

A new human evolution missing link called Dragon Man has been found. The scientific designation is Homo longi, also called the Harbin skull. Supporters claim that a “New human species ‘Dragon Man’ may be our closest relative.” The fossil was called Dragon Man because the province of China where it was found, Heilongjiang, literally means Black Dragon River.

. . .

The claim is based on part of a single skull discovered 85 years ago in China’s most northern province. The find was widely published as the skull that “provides important evidence for understanding the evolution of humans and the origin of our species.”[2] Even National Geographic got on the band wagon, declaring that the “‘Dragon Man’ skull may be a new species, shaking up the human family tree.”
