Evolutionists Have More Hoaztin Hassles

The hoatzin is the national bird of Guyana and is not considered endangered in its range. However, one can easily wonder if believers in universal common descent evolution wish that this skunky punk rock chicken with the lovely plumage had gone extinct long ago. It has caused them a passel of problems, and is in good company with animals like the platypus, echidna, and others. None of them fit evolutionary planograms. They had to give it a special family classification; it does not fit anywhere.

An evolutionist called the hoatzin enigmatic. DNA research failed to support evolution, but worse for them, it actually supported creation instead.

Evolutionists cannot agree on its alleged ancestry, especially since it has features different from other birds, but also similarities to mammals. The miraculous non-explanation of convergent evolution has been invoked (read: no clue), but that only shuts down investigation. Genetics was implemented, then things got...truly bizarre. In fact, the research not only failed to support evolution, it supported creation! This child thinks that those unclassifiable creatures are God's reminders that he is the Creator. Yippie ky yay, secularists!
The hoatzin has defied attempts to determine its evolutionary history, prompting the use of DNA analysis. However, that approach has also failed to bridge the gap between this unique animal and its putative evolutionary ancestors. The problems are giving Darwinists nightmares.

The article reviewed below, rather than supporting evolution, actually supports creation. Ornithologist Joel Cracraft from the American Museum of Natural History has called the hoatzin “the strangest and most enigmatic species of bird in the world.”
